At Harmony, we believe in project-based learning that inspires and engages students, combining English Language Arts (ELA), Second Language Acquisition (SLA), Mathematics, World Studies, Environmental Sciences, permaculture, and the rich history and culture of Costa Rica.

Our approach makes learning meaningful and fun. Students dive into projects that blend academic skills with real-world applications. From designing sustainable farms to exploring Costa Rican culture, our students embark on exciting educational journeys.

In ELA, students improve communication skills through research, writing, and presentations. SLA immerses them in Costa Rican languages and traditions, promoting multilingual proficiency. Math is used to solve real-life problems, particularly in our permaculture and regenerative agriculture projects. World Studies explores global history with a special focus on Costa Rica.

Environmental Sciences, integral to our curriculum, teaches students about ecosystems, sustainability, and the science behind permaculture and regenerative agriculture. They learn to create productive, eco-friendly systems that work in harmony with nature, fostering a deep respect for the environment.

At Harmony, we don’t rely on standardized tests. Instead, students showcase their learning through detailed blueprints of their projects, demonstrating their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
